An Early Season Visit to Forillon National Park

It’s an event we locals await with anticipation, the moment when the gates of the North and South Areas of Forillon National Park finally open in the Spring, allowing us go for a turn in the park and officially start the season. Early season also happens to be one of the optimum times to see fauna. Come with me on a photographic visit of the park in late May.

An Outlook on the Upcoming 2017 Season

This season seems to be one where stars align to increase occupancy. The low Canadian dollar encourages our citizens to stay within the country, and invites our southern neighbors and many Europeans to take advantage of the favorable currency exchange rate. Canada’s 150th anniversary and the free admittance to all National Parks is also increasing demand, since we are located right beside Forillon National Park.
